So I've seen a few threads on this and since I'm getting rid of my car and my intakes off I thought I'd post pics of the inside regarding the fins
Here it is and you can see the metallic fins that were aluminium welded in place with an AEM DRYFLOW filter attached... this intake doesn't have a headshield and is therefore NOT complete, I had it secured with a ziptie for about 7,000km and never once had an issue, no codes, nadda, it did make some sweet sweet turbo sounds though :yup: it may be up for sale, if you're interested P.M me and I'll see how things go from there... anywhoo here's what it looks like, all made from aluminium.

**oh I forgot to mention that curiously, after I tossed the factory filter BACK in the trembling idle immediately returned...so take what you will from that
