New to the forums, bought a 2013 Cadillac ATS 2.0t last weekend and couldn't wait to start modding. Starting with the small stuff. I thought taking the grills out would be a piece of cake, boy was I wrong.
Had to remove the bumper, unplug some electronics, and unscrew upwards of about 50 screws/connectors.
The original goal was to paint it chrome but none of the chrome paints we used looked anything but silver. So we scrapped that idea and went the two tone blue route. Turned out better than we expected.
It's not finished, still have one more grill to do and to finish painting the middle, and I might even scrap all of this and cut out some metal mesh instead. Was even toying around with the idea of powder coating my rims to match the blue.
Would like to see what you all have done to your grills.
