OEM ATS-V brakes clear stock wheels? V-wheels fit non V wheel tubs?

My goals are:
widest front tire that clears
same tire size front and rear (I'm ok with spacers or different offsets)
clear V brakes
OEM wheels, not aftermarket (insurance reasons)
18s (pot holes and cost)

Detroit wheels has V-wheels listed as fitting all models so either they are wrong or HubcapHeaven is wrong on the offset.

Questions are:
-What offset is the V-front wheel and will they fit?
-ZZP and others sell the V-brakes as an upgrade kit but they claim 19's are required...
However CTS with RPO J55 brakes are pretty big and the calipers are clunkier then the ATS-V and they clear stock 18s... Maybe some of the stockers will clear?
