One modification I have been hoping to do on my 2016 Lux Coupe is a front bumper lip. I have seen the D3 carbon fiber one for a sedan but nothing for a coupe. Does anyone know of something (non generic please) that fits the coupe?

BC Racing Coilovers
Has anyone used BC racing coilovers without issues. I installed a set with the Swift spring upgrade and was fine for about a week. Then the front right started to clunk. Shortly after that the left started but is not as bad. I have installed and pulled out at least 6 times. I have replaced both shocks and double checked preload more times than I can count. I have noticed some play with the top hat plastic shim and spring witch allows for some play. I even tried to crank down the preload just to see if that helped but didn't. It sounds like they are going to fall off. I had it on ramps to see if I had a clearance issue but nothing is even close to touching. Everything is to factory spec on torque. I just don't get it. I am at the point of just pulling them off and calling it quits. Only thing left is bearings which seem okay. Are these things just junk? The ride is fine at speed. It's only at slow speeds over small bumps like driving at 5 mph on grass. Any feedback would be helpful as I am about to box them up and take a road trip to toss them out on their front door!

LED vs HID test
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KbZBgrEk_w
I see this pop up occasionally in this forum. TRS did a test with halogen, led, and hid in a halogen based projector. I have always said that led has a ways to go and this video proves it. Hid had 4x as many lumens in the center, and about 2x towards the side. If you are thinking of putting a kit in your ATS, stick with hid and go for 4,300-5,000k. Any higher and you will lose lumens. Cadillac projectors are crappy so don't expect them to be perform great.

Eibach Lowering Springs and a Wheel/Tire Shop
Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone's knows of a good wheel and tire shop in the Massachusetts area. I want to upgrade to 19 inch wheels for my 2013 ATS 3.6 AWD. Also looking into getting the Eibach lowering springs installed and was wondering if they fit the AWD model.
thanks

My build thread: 2017 Premium Performance
Hey guys, I just wanted to start a build thread and update you as the changes keep coming.
So far, I have done a full interior and exterior update of the bulbs. I replaced the map lights, foot lights, license plate lights, trunk light, reverse lights, and the back seat lights with T10 LED bulbs. I added the cadillac logo puddle lights for the front doors.
Tomorrow I will be tinting my tail lights, 3rd brake light, and all the reflectors around the car.
Next week I am plasti-dipping my car in balloon white pearl, while leaving the roof raven black, and blacking out all badges, exhaust tips, window trim, front grill and rear chrome trim pieces.
I also have an appointment to install an electronic cutout valve. As many people have pointed out to me, this is just NOISE. No real performance improvement, but hey, It's my car. I do what i want lol.
Anyways, I'll keep updating this thread as things get done.
--On the TO-DO list is: Changing the existing HID bulb to a 6k bulb to match the led lights up front, and a full carbon fiber wrap of interior trim pieces.

Tire/wheel sizes for awd
Hi guys,
I'm thinking about using 225/40/18 tires in the front and 255/30/19 tires in the back. Has anyone tried running this setup on an AWD model? The revs/mile are the same and both of those sizes are in the owners manual for the ATS.

Painted LGX Engine Cover
Does any one know where I might be able to get the V Sport emblem that is on the 2.0's accessory engine cover (the black and red one)? I have a feeling it is part of the cover and not available as a separate item.
I painted my V6 cover and think it would look better with the V emblem in place of the shield.

Dipped my car. Give me your honest feedback.
Hey guys. Just updating you on the progress of my car. Today I just got my car back from being dipped. I used a balloon white pearl in the pro line series from Dip your car.I did a full chrome delete, sprayed the wheels anthracite grey, went ahead and painted the center caps to match, BUT I have the black caps with silver caddy logo on the way, that will be replacing these. Last week I tinted the tails and reflectors, did a full led swap on ALL bulbs inside and out. And prior to that, I added the puddle lights with the caddy logo.
Next up is the V series spoiler in carbon fiber which will be here next monday. I hope y'all enjoy. Let me know what you think.

13 ATS Upgrade to 15+ front end
Hi all,
Im looking to upgrade the emblems and front end on the wifes 2013 ATS to a 2015. I would like to hear if anyone has done this upgrade and anything I should look out for or any tips?
So far I found a front bumper cover for $200 from a 2015 with no parking sensors. My ATS does have the front parking sensors so Im guessing I could get those holes drilled? Thats very cheap for a near perfect bumper cover.
Since I have the performance package and I have the signature lighting I know I will need the lower grill with the cut out for the lights at the end. I called the dealer they have it for $125. So Im good with that.
One thing that came up when talking with the parts guy regarding the grill was if mine has a deflector or not? Also will a coupe grill fit on a sedan?
I appreciate any help

Aftermarket Wheels
Im looking at aftermarket wheels and am concerned with the fitment. I am concerned that the wheel may not fit with the Brembo brakes. What size wheel offset would leave clearance for the Brembo brakes ???

My wheel situation. Need thoughts/opinions.
Im sure most of you have seen my ATS which has the Carbon Black package 18 after midnight wheels. I really like the wheels and have no problems keeping them....however, over the winter a had a minor incident with a curb driving to work on a very snowy morning with untreated roads. There was a tow truck getting a vehicle out of a ditch in the right lane, and I moved too far left and scraped up both of my left wheels. Couldnt see the curb as roads had significant snow cover on them. Not long after that I had the rash on both wheels repaired, but I am unhappy with the results. I basically want two new wheels to be completely happy, but the after midnight wheels are insanely expensive!! Cheapest I have found so far is $1250 shipped for two wheels!!!!!
So I call my insurance and they were awesome, they wrote me a check on the spot to cover two new wheels, an alignment, mounting balancing, and even reimbursed me $200 for the original wheel repair job. Minus my deductible I now have a check for $1457. Yes thats enough to cover two new wheels, but do I really wanna spend $1250 on TWO wheels? Seems kinda crazy.
I have always liked the gloss black accessory 19 wheels, and have pieces together a set of 4 of the 8 wife wheels for my awd, tires, mounting/balancing, and even tpms which comes out to be $2233. Then if I sell my original full complete setup I will come out ahead and have a sweet new wheel setup.
Here are my notes on the wheel package:
ATS 19 wheel package:
4 19x8 wheels 19300914
-approx $311 a piece $1244
4 Cont. DWS 225/35/19 tires
-$185 a piece $838 installed
4 TPMS 19332370 $151.80 shipped
Total: $2233.80
So in theory if I sell my original setup as a complete takeoff set, maybe get $1500 for them, plus the $1457 check from insurance, I can get the 19 wheel package and have maybe $700 left over in my pocket. If I go the route of just buying two new replacement wheels I will get two new wheels and have about 200 bucks left over and be right back where I started....which is a damn nice setup, but sometimes changing it up is nice.
Thoughts/opinions?
These are the wheels of interest. My car currently has the same wheels thats on the red one, and I would be considering the 19 accessory wheels like on the black one. Would ride be similar between runflat equipped 18 wheels and non-runflat 19 setup? I actually drove this black one before and I recall the ride being just fine, but its been a while

TSW Mosport Wheel Upgrade
Finally got around to ordering a set of wheels for my ATS after owning it for 2 years already! Originally was going to go with MRR GF7’s in gloss black until I came across the Mosports released just this March. I think these will look better on the ATS with the more squared off spoke design. Can’t wait to see them installed, very satisfied with the purchase thus far. Just hope I don’t regret not getting 19s!
